The Ozzi Kleen RW5000 underground rainwater tanks allow small urban blocks the convenience of rainwater storage with a space-saving unobtrusive tank. Underground Rainwater gives your backyard back.

Underground water tanks allow you to “reclaim” your ground space, leaving all your space usable while meeting government guidelines, keeping your external areas uncluttered and saving money on your water costs.

Ozzi Kleen Underground Rainwater Tanks are available in two models to suit your needs in and around the home and depending on the model of your choice, the system will supply mains water to these areas once the rainwater has been depleted to a low level in the tank, or there is a power outage so that there is always a supply of water to the outlets.

The RW5000 underground rainwater tanks are available in a standard and deluxe version so you can select the options you need…

The RW5000 is an easy to use underground rainwater system designed for use around the home, garden and pool with a simple connection to the pressure pump making it that just turning the tap gives you that much needed extra water suppply around your home.

The RW Deluxe underground rainwater system is a very smart system detects when the water level runs low or suffers a power outage – utilizing an automatic mains diversion.

Installation The Ozzi Kleen Underground Rainwater Tank is 2.7m high x 1.95m diameter and weighs approximately 350kg – making it quick, easy and economical to install in comparison to a concrete tank.

These rainwater harvesting systems are ideal to install on all new homes and can be conveniently be put under driveways out of the way.

How the underground water collection tanks work:

Firstly the water passes through the leaf strainer which will filter out any leaves, larger dead insects, larger debris etc. After passing through the leaf strainer the first amount of water will then pass into the first flush diverter.

Once the tank is full the lowest quality water from the bottom of the tank is removed via a de-sludging overflow tube situated in close proximity to the pump pick up pipe. This removes any sludge from around the pump pick up pipe as well as the water from the bottom of the tank leaving the highest quality water in the tank.
This water/sludge is sent to the overflow pipe and removed from the system. Stored rainwater is fed to the outlets via a pump and pressure regulator. This keeps a constant supply of rainwater to the outlets from the tank. If the water level in the tank drops to a low level the system senses this and will seamlessly change over to supply the outlets with mains water instead, (only available in model RW Deluxe).

Once it has rained and rainwater level has again been lifted in the tank, the system will automatically switch back to rainwater. In the event of a power outage the system will automatically divert to mains water so that there is always a constant supply of water to the outlets.
